Fireworks Safety Alert
We are aware there is some concern and confusion over the fireworks ban in effect in Castle Pines North. While the use of a limited selection of fireworks is allowed in Douglas County, Castle Pines North City Council approved an ordinance, 09-06, banning the use of all fireworks outside of professional displays. This ban includes the use of any and all fireworks permitted at the state and county levels.

July 2: The latest issue of News and Notes
The July issue includes a message from Mayor Shul and clarification of the city's fireworks ban.
The walk raised a total of $380 for The Children's Hospital. CPN Youth Advisory Council members, along with Mayor Maureen Shul and Kristine Turner, presented the check to The Children's Hospital representative Wanda Castleman, Tuesday, June 16.
