Meeting Information

Council meetings for the new City Council are held at the CPN Community Center (7404 Yorkshire Drive), when available, and the HOA #1 Clubhouse, 7233 Tenby Way, across from Buffalo Ridge Elementary School.

Council meetings begin at 7:00 p.m., with time allowed at the beginning of each meeting for public input. A study session is held before each council meeting beginning at 6:00 p.m. While public input is not permitted at the study session, meetings are open to the public.

Council Meeting: Nov. 25, 2008

The regular meeting of the City Council for Castle Pines was held last night at 7:00 p.m. at HOA #1 Clubhouse, 7233 Tenby Way.

Among the highlights: The City's proposed 2009 budget was presented and discussed. It was the fourth in a series of hearings designed to share information with citizens and offer the opportunity for questions and answers. Final budget consideration and approval by Council will occur at either the Dec. 3 or Dec. 10 Council meeting.

Council also voted for the City to become a Benefactor-level member of the Castle Pines Chamber of Commerce, subject to annual review by the Council.

The following additional items were discussed and approved:

Resolution 08-35, "First amendment to professional services agreement for city management services with CH2M HILL Inc."
Resolution 08-52, "Approving license agreement for construction of park with Castle Pines North Metropolitan District and Castle Pines Parks Authority."
A Motion concerning elected officials coverage under the Colorado Workers Compensation Act.

The next City Council meeting will be held Wednesday, Dec. 3, at 7:00 p.m. It will be at the Council's standard location: CPN Community Center, 7404 Yorkshire Drive. All Council meetings are open to the public.
