Meeting Information

Council meetings for the new City Council are held at the CPN Community Center (7404 Yorkshire Drive), when available, and the HOA #1 Clubhouse, 7233 Tenby Way, across from Buffalo Ridge Elementary School.

Council meetings begin at 7 p.m., with time allowed at the beginning of each meeting for public input. A study session is held before each council meeting beginning at 6 p.m. While public input is not permitted at the study session, meetings are open to the public.

Council Meeting: April 9, 2009

The regular meeting of the City Council for Castle Pines North was held 8 p.m. April 9 at the
CPN Community Center, 7404 Yorkshire Drive.

The Council approved the new Ordinance 09-01, effective immediately, establishing a local liquor licensing authority that will regulate the licensing of the manufacture, distribution and sale of
alcoholic beverages.

Among other highlights, Council discussed and approved the following items:

Resolution 09-35 which appoints the Castle Pines North Youth Advisory Council, effective immediately. Along with the approval of this resolution, an addendum was added,
appointing Councilperson David Neely to work with and assist the Mayor on the
CPN Youth Advisory Council.

The next City Council meeting will be Thursday, April 23, at 7 p.m. at the HOA #1 Clubhouse,
7233 Tenby Way. All Council meetings are open to the public. Meeting agendas are posted online and at the CPN Community Center the day before each meeting is held.
