Meeting Information

Council meetings for the new City Council are held at the CPN Community Center (7404 Yorkshire Drive), when available, and the HOA #1 Clubhouse, 7233 Tenby Way, across from Buffalo Ridge Elementary School.

Council meetings begin at 7 p.m., with time allowed at the beginning of each meeting for public input. A study session is held before each council meeting beginning at 6 p.m. While public input is not permitted at the study session, meetings are open to the public.

Council Meeting: April 23, 2009

The regular meeting of the City Council for Castle Pines was held at 7 p.m. April 23 at HOA #1 Clubhouse, 7233 Tenby Way.

Council unanimously approved ordinances 09-41, 09-42, 09-43 and 09-44, which all discussed the annexation petition for the The Canyons property, located east of Interstate 25. Determining that the petition complies with applicable statutory requirements is the first of several steps needed to complete annexation.

Among other highlights, Council discussed and approved the second reading of Ordinance 09-08, providing for four-year staggered terms of office for the Mayor, City Council members, City Treasurer and City Clerk.

The next City Council meeting will be Thursday, May 14, at 7 p.m. at Castle Pines CPN Community Center, 7404 Yorkshire Drive, Castle Pines, CO. All Council meetings are open to the public. All meeting agendas are posted online and at the CPN Community Center the day before each meeting is held.
