Meeting Information

Council meetings for the new City Council are held at the CPN Community Center (7404 Yorkshire Drive), when available, and the HOA #1 Clubhouse, 7233 Tenby Way, across from Buffalo Ridge Elementary School.

Council meetings begin at 7 p.m., with time allowed at the beginning of each meeting for public input. A study session is held before each council meeting beginning at 6 p.m. While public input is not permitted at the study session, meetings are open to the public.

Council Meeting: Sept. 24, 2009

The regular meeting of the City Council for Castle Pines was held at 7 p.m. Sept. 24 at CPN Community Center, 7404 Yorkshire Drive, Castle Pines, Colo.

Council will continue Ordinances 09-14, 09-15 and 09-16, which annexes The Canyons property into the city, and Ordinances 09-17, 09-18 and 09-19, which establishes zoning of The Canyons property, to Oct. 22, in which a public hearing and the second reading will occur.

Among other highlights, Council discussed and approved three resolutions, which will repeal and reenact the city’s 2009 Comprehensive Plan, approve the Three-Mile Plan and approve the 2020 Transportation Plan.

The next City Council meeting will be Thursday, Oct. 8, at 7 p.m. at Castle Pines North Community Center, 7404 Yorkshire Drive, Castle Pines, Colo. All Council meetings are open to the public. All meeting agendas are posted online and at the CPN Community Center the day before each meeting is held.
