Meeting Information

Council meetings for the new City Council are held at the CPN Community Center (7404 Yorkshire Drive), when available, and the HOA #1 Clubhouse, 7233 Tenby Way, across from Buffalo Ridge Elementary School.

Council meetings begin at 7 p.m., with time allowed at the beginning of each meeting for public input. A study session is held before each council meeting beginning at 6 p.m. While public input is not permitted at the study session, meetings are open to the public.

Council Meeting: Jan. 14, 2010

The regular meeting of the City Council for Castle Pines North was held at 6 p.m. Jan. 14, at the CPN Community Center, 7404 Yorkshire Dr., Castle Pines North, Colo.

City Council unanimously approved Ordinance 09-25, which establishes and imposes a temporary suspension and delay in the acceptance, processing and approval of applications to any business that grows, sells, dispenses or otherwise provides medical marijuana.

Among other highlights, Council:

Appointed Councilperson Gilbert as Mayor Pro Tem
Appointed Councilperson Hamilton Bruer as the city’s representative on the Castle Pines Parks Authority
Approved the second and fourth Tuesday Council meeting schedule for 2010
Instituted Friday, Jan. 22, as the cut-off date for accepting resumes and letters of interest for the City Clerk position

The next City Council meeting will be7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 26, at HOA #1 clubhouse, 7233 Tenby Way, Castle Pines North, Colo. All City Council meetings are open to the public. All meeting agendas are posted online and at the CPN Community Center the day before each meeting is held.
